The Marketing and Communications team at Marsh are looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our team. The role will work across a number of portfolios within our business to drive growth, awareness and engagement through the delivery of strategic and tactical marketing campaigns. You will have great written and verbal communication skills, be experienced in developing content that is audience-centric, plus a track record in executing integrated marketing campaigns that deliver business results. You will also have experience in content marketing and a broad spectrum of online and offline marketing engagement channels.

**We will count on you to**:

- Lead digital-first marketing campaigns to drive lead generation or cross-sell/up-sell across several portfolios with our business
- Develop briefs (or reverse briefs) in consultation with internal stakeholders
- Scope project requirements and brief other marketing team members including brand, creative, editorial and digital for support where needed
- Develop suitable content with business stakeholders in line with the defined strategy, project plan and SEO principles and regularly assess content effectiveness with a view to optimise where and when appropriate
- Support the development of competitive value propositions and client-centric messaging which tells a compelling narrative and connects our services to the needs of our target audience
- Recommend new opportunities to increase the scalability and efficiency of processes.
- Report on campaign performance through analytics and storytelling
- Leverage out-of-market learnings and adapt to market strategy; develop and share in-market learnings based on key successes and failures

**We would like you to have**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required
- Minimum 3+ years of progressive marketing experience
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and priorities
- Creative problem-solving skills and a solutions-focused mindset
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- You are a strong communicator and relationship builder
- Experience in lead generation through marketing automation programs
- You possess strong attention to detail and organisational skills with excellent communication, presentation, management, and interpersonal skills
- Positive ‘can-do’ attitude and flexible approach to teamwork
- You are proactive in your approach and take initiative, leveraging and learning from successes and challenges of other markets
- You are a self-starter: you thrive on taking ownership of initiatives with limited oversight

**What makes you stand out**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills both from the perspective of stakeholder engagement and in the development of your campaigns with particular strength in copywriting and storytelling
- Digital marketing fluency with understanding of SEO and targeted marketing techniques
- Experience with Salesforce, Pardot and Marketing cloud preferred
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to influence internal clients in a consultative way
- Demonstrated ability to create and execute marketing campaigns in support of the marketing strategy
