Brisbane, Australia Bendigo & Adelaide Bank Full time

We’ve never been ‘just a bank’. Just like you should never be ‘just an employee’. We’re united in our belief that in banking, better can be bigger, and together we’re making it happen.

**It starts here. With Bendigo Bankand you.**:
This is a great role for those looking for career growth: you will deepen your understanding of customers and where risk lies within transactions; building your working knowledge in the areas of insolvency events, assets in possession/forced sale activities and default/bankruptcy processes.

Our Asset Management team manages our high-risk Business Banking and Agribusiness accounts that require intensive management, focusing on providing our customers with every reasonable opportunity to preserve their loan, their equity and any underlying security while minimising and mitigating customer and Bank shareholder loss.

You’ll love the good you can do here. Come and be part of an experienced and supportive team where your work will protect the Bank while also helping our customers who are experiencing financial difficulty.

***:
**As a Manager Asset Management you’ll make an impact by**:

- Managing fraudulent, high risk, impaired/unproductive and workout exposures transferred from Agribusiness Banking that require intensive management, delivering a commercially viable outcome that does not expose the Group to unacceptable levels of risk.
- Assuming direct relationship responsibility for a mix of complex and non-complex exposures.
- Mentoring and developing junior staff members for succession

This is a permanent full-time position with flexibility about the location you are based in. We offer flexible work options that put our people first, and a hybrid model of minimum two days in the officer per week, increasing to 60% of your time in the office from July 2025.

***:
**What you’ll bring to the role**:
To succeed in this role, we’d love you to have:

- Experience in Agribusiness highly regarded and Commercial/Business Banking also desirable, with experience coming from relationship management / credit risk management / asset management / insolvency-restructuring roles.
- Credit management knowledge with in-depth understanding of financial reporting, cashflow analysis, securities and securities realisation procedures
- Proven experience in client and portfolio control is essential
- Strong relationship skills with a desire to work closely with the customer to problem solve and find the right solution.

**So, why work for us?**:

- **Want big impact that matters?**Here, you’ll know your work directly benefits the customers and communities we all serve.
- **Want to be more than just a number?**Join a team that truly values you and the diverse contribution you make, every day.
- **Want career opportunity AND flexibility?**Achieve both here, where we know that balance and progression go hand in hand.

You’ll also get access to a great range of benefits, including:
- Flexibility means different things for different people. Whether it’s hybrid work, flexible hours, a compressed work week, job-sharing or something different, our flexible work options are designed to put people first
- Health and wellbeing support, including discounted gym memberships, private health insurance options, and our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for you and your immediate family members
- Opportunities to take your learning to the next level through our corporate university ‘BEN U’ or at an external provider of your choice

**We’re making better, bigger. And we’ll get there with you.**:
Now’s the time to set your sights even higher - on the future you and the future career you deserve.
