**Your assignment**:
We are looking for an **Asset & Facilities Manager** to work with a client of ours, a leading independent multi-disciplinary engineering and architectural organisation in the Pacific Region that focuses on infrastructure advancement.
- **Location**: Brisbane, QLD
- ** Length of contract**: Full Time / Permanent

**Your main responsibilities**:
As the **Asset & **Facilities **Manager**, you will play a pivotal role in contributing to the overall success and longevity of the client properties through cost management, contract negotiation and asset lifecycle management. Key responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Overseeing the maintenance and operational efficiency of building assets.
- Developing and implementing asset management strategies to maximise their lifespan and value.
- Identifying potential risks and uncertainties associated with building projects and assets.
- Developing risk mitigation plans and strategies to protect investments.
- Conducting financial analysis - incl. cost-benefit analysis and ROI calculations.
- Providing recommendations for optimising asset investments and resource allocation.
- Maintaining comprehensive projects and asset records - incl. contracts, financial reports, and performance metrics.
- Preparing regular reports for management and stakeholders on project and asset status.

**Your background**:
To be successful for this role, you will have;
- Proven experience in cost estimation, asset management and investment within the Construction and Real Estate industry
- Strong knowledge in construction contracts, procurement methods, and building regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with effective communication and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to details with a focus on accuracy
