**Organisation**
South Bank Corporation is a premier integrated precinct manager with a diverse portfolio of assets, including road networks, utilities infrastructure, retail properties, parklands of significant heritage and cultural value, commercial buildings, exhibition and convention centres, car park facilities, and various operational and equipment assets. **Role**
As the Asset & Infrastructure Manager at South Bank Corporation, you will assume a leadership role in overseeing the comprehensive stewardship of our diverse asset portfolio, and report to Executive Management. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic asset management plans, maintenance strategies, and financial management processes to achieve the Corporation's objectives. This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, financial acumen, and expertise in asset management.
Asset Management Strategy:
- Lead the development of the Asset Management Framework, including a Strategic Asset Management Plan and Maintenance Strategy.
- Provide operational and strategic guidance on asset lifecycle management, Capex, and Opex budgets.
Asset Condition and Performance:
- Ensure accurate and timely Asset Management Plans are in place.
- Oversee the efficient operation of the Asset Management System
- Maintain the integrity of asset data to support business cases, forecasting, and planning.
Asset Financial Planning and Management:
- Develop annual budgets for capital expenditure on Corporation assets.
- Contribute to the development of the annual asset operating and maintenance expenditure budget.
- Monitor financial performance against targets and identify opportunities for cost-efficiency.
A proven Asset Manager with experience in managing a complex precinct or campus, with a range of building and infrastructure assets, from a technical background in engineering, trade or similar.
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent in Engineering or Asset Management.
- Knowledge of relevant engineering and infrastructure standards, legislation, and guidelines.
- Ability to read and interpret technical information, including specialist reports and engineering drawings.
- Ideally 10 years of experience in precinct asset maintenance and managing a supporting team.
- Experience in managing and supervising contractors and consultants across various disciplines.
- Strong stakeholder relationship-building skills.
- Solutions and systems-oriented with the ability to drive process improvements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
