Hudson has partnered with a government agency and is seeking to engage an enthusiastic Asset Management Officer to join their office located in Brisbane CBD for a 4-month contract.

Please note you must be an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident to be considered for this position and have the ability to obtain an Australian Police Check to be eligible for these roles.

The Asset Management Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Asset Management and Preparedness team to manage key service contracts and asset management activities.

They will:

- Provide contract and administrative support to the team managing service contracts including for maintenance, emergency towing, vessel tracking, automatic information systems (AIS) and distress beacon detection.
- Develop and maintain electronic information resources including: technical reports, digital images, engineering drawings, equipment manuals, asset data, safety, heritage and environmental plans and hazard registers.
- Manage processing of periodic maintenance and performance reports from contractors including updating endorsed information management systems.
- Retrieve and compile asset site and equipment information for audit purposes, insurance claims, property management, public relations and financial asset management purposes.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly performance reporting for various service contracts.

**Essential skills/experience required**:
We are looking for an experienced Administrator with experience in the Government Sector. Experience in Record Management, Asset Management or Contract Management is also desired but not mandatory.

To be considered for the position, you will need the following skills and experience:

- Demonstrated high level skills in MS Office suite of products e.g. Word, Excel and web-based information management tools.
- Demonstrated high level skills and experience in reviewing, managing and extracting data from databases and other recordkeeping systems.
- Certification III in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in contract and project management principles.
- Demonstrated skills in analysing data and preparation of management reporting.
