**About the Role**

Based at our facility in Preston and reporting into the Production Manager, the Production Team Lead will be responsible for:

- Conducting on job training where necessary and train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures.
- Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements.
- Support the Production Manager to achieve the production plan.
- Conduct maintenance activities as required.
- Monitor product to ensure conformance to specification.
- Monitor production operator techniques and assist team members in troubleshooting.
- Encourage, implement and respond to Safety and Productivity Improvement suggestions.
- Ensure that strict HSE rules and regulations are adhered to during the shift.
- Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance.

**About You**

We are looking for an experienced Production Team Lead to join our team at our facility located in Preston with the following skills:

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to coach and mentor staff.
- Understanding of machine controls and instrumentation.
- Chemical manufacturing experience.
- Physical fitness, as heavy lifting is involved.
- Capacity to remain calm and focused whilst working under pressure.
- Forklift License

**How to Apply**

**Salary**: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
