
Service Desk Support Officer

Our client is a large council that is seeking a Service Desk Support Officer for a short term contract.
**POSITION PURPOSE**
To support the service management team in delivering IT support services to Council, staffing the IT Service Desk and providing support to users of IT tools by logging service calls, solving incidents or escalating these as needed.
**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
Experience in the IT field
Significant experience in developing a strong customer focus
Microsoft Network /OS
Experience in the support of Citrix environment
**DUTIES**
Providing day-to-day technical and advice to users of computer software and hardware
Answer Service desk calls
Provide level 1 service desk support and level 2 desktop support to users
Fully vaccinated with Booster

Contract length: 3 months
**Salary**: $37.00 - $43.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
