As the Project Lead - Health Cities, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of an emblematic program in Bupa’s Mission 2040 Sustainability Strategy, Healthy Cities. Health Cities contributes to the Mission 2040 KPI of supporting one million people globally regenerate nature; it creates a movement for positive change by mobilising participants with activities that are good for their health and for restoring nature.

You will oversee the delivery of the program across Australia and New Zealand specifically, ensuring that it meets local objectives and KPIs. You will coordinate multiple delivery workstreams, including those within Bupa ANZ, by a creative agency, and by Bupa Foundation flagship partners ensuring the program satisfies local KPIs and is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

This is an initial 12 month fixed term contract with genuine view to extend, and is based in Melbourne (ideal) or Sydney with flexible hybrid working.

**How will I help?**

Key accountabilities include:

- Provide overall governance oversight for the program, ensuring that it is delivered in accordance with best practices and standards with ongoing regular performance reporting provided to internal stakeholders
- Work closely with program team and co-owners to ensure that the program is aligned with overall business objectives and appropriate communications and cadence are established.
- Collaborating with multiple delivery workstreams to ensure that program objectives are met and that dependencies are managed effectively.
- Manage an external creative agency to design, implement and successfully deliver communications & activations campaigns not already being delivered in-house
- Manage external stakeholder relationships, including corporate organisations and community partners to drive program delivery and participation.
- Manage the program budget, monitoring and controlling costs and ensuring that expenditure is within agreed parameters.
- Provide regular updates on program progress to key stakeholders, including the leadership steerco and external partners, including the preparation of steering committee presentations, minutes, etc

**What do I need?**
- 3- 5 years’ experience in a project/program management role delivering medium to large projects with high levels of complexity, multiple dependencies, and in a complex or cross-functional environment
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing teams and stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and influence diverse groups of stakeholders
- Experience working with and managing external partners and vendors
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive effective solutions and deliver business outcomes
- Experience with effectively presenting at senior level. e.g. Senior Manager and Director levels
