**About the role**:
At Silk Hospitality, we are committed to creating a dynamic and supportive work environment. We are currently seeking a dedicated HR Generalist to join our Human Resource Team. This role is vital in supporting a range of HR functions including employee relations, policy development, training, compliance, and health & safety. As an HR Advisor Generalist, you will play a key role in managing and supporting various HR activities. You will be involved in employee relations, performance management, occupational health and safety, and general HR duties. Your expertise will help us enhance our workplace culture and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.

**A little about you and your background**:
We are looking for an HR professional who thrives in an environment that is fast paced, dynamic and challenging. You will be trusted to work autonomously whilst maintaining strong relationship with the whole HR team.
- Broad HR generalist experience to provide a high-quality HR expertise, including workforce planning, succession planning, employee development and engagement, performance management, works compensation and HR administration.
- Experience managing employee relations matters, including complaints, grievances, and disciplinary issues.
- Experience managing workplace health and safety matters including injury management, Workcover claims managing return to work plans to ensure the best outcome for employees.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven problem solving and decision-making capability.
- Ability to develop strong working relationships by building credibility, respect and support.
- Resilient and able to work in a fast pace and high demand environment.
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and applicable legislation.
