We have an opportunity for an experienced Kitchen Hand to join our passionate team and contribute to the smooth and safe operation of our kitchen.

**Your Experience**:
It is preferred that you have at least some experience with food handling and cleaning in busy commercial kitchens and be able to demonstrate skills in the following areas:

- Sanitation and cleaning
- Safe food handling
- Safe manual handling
- Time management
- Verbal communication

**Job Duties**
- Meticulously and methodically organise the kitchen space to ensure cleanliness and safety
- Thoroughly and efficiently clean bakery machinery, utensils and equipment in line with hygiene regulations
- Responding quickly and responsibly to any hazards that require cleaning and making safe
- Assisting with storing food deliveries in a safe, hygienic and efficient manner
- Reporting equipment, sanitation and safety issues to supervisor or management
- Ensuring that the bakery operates in a clean and safe manner throughout your shift
- Assisting the bakers and pastry chefs with any other cleaning, making safe or food preparation activities as requested

**What is on offer**:

- Part-time shifts
- 2 shifts per week available on Friday and Sunday from 8 am through to approx 2 pm
- $26 per hour + superannuation + leave entitlements
- Possibility of picking up additional shifts in other teams within the Company

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15 per week

**Salary**: $26.00 per hour
