**MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST**

A successful applicant will be expected to provide a superior reception service including answering a high volume of patient and doctor calls in a friendly and professional manner, as well as booking in appointments, registering patient details, settling accounts, collating films and reports, scanning documents to the system as we are a paperless practice, in addition to dealing with other daily tasks involving public and private sectors and dealing with the health funds.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Excellent computer skills and proficiency working with medical based information systems.
- Excellent customer service skills and phone manner
- High level attention to detail and accuracy with data entry
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Ability to handle a high pressure environment and manage stress during busy periods
- The ability to exercise complete discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Casual work for 2 to 3 days per week.
- Work under direct supervision and take direct tasks to do on day to day bases from a practice manager.
