**About the role**

The Principal Content Officer manages IPART’s central publication processes and leads strategic content production. Leading a small team of submit matter experts, the role provides advice to IPART teams and manages the design and preparation of a range of internal and external communications, ensuring alignment between stakeholder requirements, expectations, and organisational strategic direction.

In the role, you will:

- Lead change within content production and publishing to ensure best practices are in place.
- Manage the publishing function, ensuring templates, guides, and resources are available and optimised for ease of use.
- Develop and maintain IPART’s visual identity, including brand style guides and templates.
- Lead the development and delivery of complex creative concepts to convey IPART messaging with impactful written and visual content.
- Provide expert advice on organisational policies, guidelines, processes, and programs to promote quality, consistency, and compliance in publishing, production, and design.
- Deliver strategic advice on design ideas to communicate key issues to various stakeholders.
- Manage and coordinate the creation and production of solutions across print, digital, and media.
- Manage the design and implementation of content strategies, championing the use of Web Content Accessibility Standards (WCAG) and managing IPART’s Global Experience Language (GEL), brand guidelines, and content strategy.

**About you**

We are looking for a proactive people leader who thrives on delivering outcomes within agreed timeframes and with a high level of autonomy. You will have excellent time-management skills to address multiple priorities and unforeseen issues, and be able to articulate content and design-related requirements to stakeholders.

Previous similar experience in content management and production is essential, as well as relevant qualifications in communications, design, or a related field. A genuine interest in keeping up to date with NSW government policies, processes, and legislation will assist you in this role.

The salary range for this role is $144,622 to $153,550 per annum, plus superannuation and annual leave loading.
