**About the role**:
We're partnering with a distinguished automotive company in Sydney to find an outstanding Fleet and Government Sales Development Specialist. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic sales professional to drive growth in New South Wales, focusing on fleet sales and expanding into the Local and State Government sectors locally and nationally.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Cultivate NSW Fleet sales accounts and assist in amplifying Local and State Government sales.
- Work collaboratively with dealers across the country to bolster Local Government sales initiatives.
- Meet and exceed annual sales goals and targets as defined by the company's management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers to facilitate sales at a Local Government level.
- Ensure SalesLogs and CRM databases are meticulously maintained and consistently accurate.
- Gather and relay market feedback to inform product development and competitive strategies.
- Offer support to the National Sales Manager when needed.
- As required, represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
- Proven experience in direct major account selling, with a strong preference for those with government sales experience.
- In-depth knowledge of the Australian truck market and the EV commercial market.
- Familiarity with truck sales, products, and automotive lease company operations.
- Possession of a truck license is desirable but not essential.
