The Role:

We are looking for a motivated junior Internal Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team in our brand-new Sydney showroom. This is a rare opportunity to learn the ropes of premium architectural product sales and grow into an external BDM role, meeting architects and builders face-to-face in time.

With hands-on mentorship from the Managing Director, you will be guided to become the best BDM in the industry. You'll be supported to build confidence, develop sales skills, and master all aspects of account management.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Account Management: Nurture existing client relationships, ensuring their projects receive the best possible service.
  • New Business Development: Cold call and identify new opportunities with architects, builders, fabricators, and clients.
  • Sales Expertise: Take control of conversations, wearing many "hats" to speak the language of different stakeholders.
  • CRM & Data Management: Accurately log client interactions, opportunities, and project updates in the CRM to maintain up-to-date records.
  • Social Media Management: Update and manage LinkedIn, Instagram, and other platforms to promote products and engage with the industry.
  • Learning & Development: Be eager to learn, proactive in seeking solutions, and confident in asking for guidance when needed.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Someone with a knack for sales, preferably with experience in architectural products, construction products, or related industries.
  • A conversational and confident communicator who can adapt their approach depending on the client or project.
  • Tech-savvy and social media literate, able to navigate CRMs and manage professional social platforms.
  • Ambitious and motivated to achieve great things, with a desire to grow into an external BDM role.
  • Independent and resourceful, yet humble and confident enough to ask for support when required.
