**The Role**
The Taskmaster role is the glue that holds the work of the team together. This is a role for someone who is passionate about creating order and making connections between work areas and priorities. Reporting to the Director, the Taskmaster is responsible for the governance and co-ordination of team outputs and reporting obligations. As the lynchpin in the team, the Taskmaster works with change management specialists to understand their needs in supporting projects and works closely with the Director to deliver on strategic team priorities as directed.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
Responsibilities of the EL 1 may include:

- Support the Director to manage and lead team, including providing clear and consistent communication, setting clear performance and behavioural standards, managing performance, financial requirements, delegating responsibility, and guiding and developing people.
- Track and manage the work priorities of several multi-disciplinary change management teams supporting Tier 1 ICT projects.
- Develop and co-ordinate team reporting obligations for senate estimates briefs, Ministerial briefs, and project performance.
- Manage risk proactively, anticipating potential issues and implementing appropriate mitigations.
- Conduct trend analysis on stakeholder engagement and outputs of the project teams to provide recommendations for actions to create process efficiencies and provide better project outcomes.
- Co-ordination of the teamwork program by managing and operating front door services (mailbox management and team’s sharepoint).
- Provide supervision to specialist staff including time sheeting and contract management.
- Accurate completion of work within timeframes and quality requirements, share own expertise with others and guide and mentor staff members.
