Based in the city, this Federal Government department is seeking an EL1 Program Manager to join their division to play a crucial part in ensuring the successful execution of two programs that provide support for the Australian community.

**Your new role**

The Program Management team is responsible for managing contracts across all jurisdictions. Your role will involve overseeing the implementation of both programs, developing strategic plans, and engaging with stakeholders. This is a great opportunity that encompasses a wide range of responsibilities tailored to your expertise and experience. Your duties, while not limited to, could include:

- Provide oversight for contract management, quarterly reporting, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement
- Manage program operations, including organising regular teleconferences and workshops.
- Make valuable contributions to the overall efforts of the section, including sector communication and program management, as needed.

- Proven track record in managing programs/projects and/or contracts
- Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively within a supportive team setting
- Expertise in providing guidance on data collection and reporting, financial aspects, expenditure projections, contract management/variations, and milestone payments
- Proficiency or willingness to acquire skills in creating vendors and processing invoice payments
- Supporting the coordination of Parliamentary documents and fulfilling other corporate requests
