We're looking for an experienced EL1 Change Manager to help deliver a major program that will simplify and harmonise complex legislation. This is a hands-on role leading change across policy, systems, and people.

Key responsibilities:

  • Apply a structured change framework and ensure readiness across the organisation
  • Coordinate change across policy, ICT, training, legal and communications streams
  • Identify and manage risks, define success measures, and track adoption
  • Support clear communication and training to build engagement and understanding

About you:

  • Proven experience delivering large-scale policy or legislative change
  • Skilled in recognised change methodologies (Prosci, ADKAR, Kotter, etc.)
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to balance competing priorities
  • Critical thinking, resilience, and the ability to work under pressure
  • Eligible for Baseline security clearance (sponsorship provided if required)

Contract details:

  • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
  • Contract to 30 June 2026, with possible 6-month extension
  • $80-$90 per hour + super (EL1 equivalent)
  • Flexible work options available; some interstate travel may be required
