**About the Role**:
Exciting opportunity to join our Brisbane team as Junior Application Support Officer. In this role you will provide timely and efficient IT support across NPE’s platforms and systems whilst delivering a high-level of customer service to all stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide Level 1 IT support across all NPE platforms and systems in particular the Hire Management System (Insphire)
- Ensure all queued support requests through the IT Helpdesk are actioned accurately and in a timely manner
- Management of service desk tasks scheduling and escalation of issues
- Ensure that all users are submitting support requests through the designated ticket management system
- Deployment, configuration and security of desktop/mobile computing devices and peripheral devices
- Troubleshoot desktop and notebook/tablet hardware, peripherals, and equipment as necessary
- Create, change, and delete user accounts as per requests in a timely manner
- Assist with compilation and management of ICT asset registers
- Assist in the documentation of ICT policies and procedures
- Efficient support and resolution for all software matters
- Ensure all critical issues are escalated in a timely manner and all stakeholders are updated on the progress
- Create a positive customer support experience, ensuring timely resolution or escalation, communicating promptly on progress and handling customers with a consummately professional attitude
- Work collaboratively within the IT team and perform other duties as required
**Skills/ Selection Criteria (qualifications & experience)**:
**Essential**:
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or significant technical knowledge of Information Technology
- Strong Operating System knowledge (MS Windows)
- Knowledge & experience working with Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to identify, analyse and solve problems related to IT services promptly and efficiently
- Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team environment
- Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision
**Desirable**:
- Prior experience with ERP / Hire Management System Support
- Basic hardware support / networking experience
- Experience with Python / Powershell Scripting
- Knowledge in MS Power BI
- Linux experience
