About Our Client
Randstad is pleased to partner exclusively with a growing national business to recruit a Junior Payroll Officer for a newly created role.
This position is suitable for candidates with some payroll exposure who wish to develop their skills while working with experienced team members.

About The Role
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will assist in processing weekly pays for 2,500 employees.
Your duties include:

Updating and maintaining employee records
Onboarding new starters and maintaining employee files
Processing terminations, redundancies, and leave
Responding to employee queries
Interpreting awards
Handling payroll inquiries and resolving issues

About You
You are interested in building a career in payroll and eager to grow your skills.
You should have:

Some payroll exposure, with transferable skills from accounts, HR, or administrative roles
High attention to detail
Excellent customer service skills
A dedicated work ethic and willingness to learn
Full Australian working rights
