**ABOUT THE ROLE**
As a Property Manager, you will play a vital role in identifying and delivering the strategic objectives of our property portfolio. Reporting to the General Manager of Strategic Development, Facilities, and Assets, you will be responsible for the management the maintenance of property and assets. Your work will involve collaborating with various internal teams internally and externally to ensure best practices are implemented while maintaining the value of our properties.
Your responsibilities will be to:
- R and M triage, maintenance platform management - Club Operations point of contact and support, CURA response, budgeting, procurement, planning, recording, monitoring and analysis, preferred contractors’ compliance requirements updates, minor projects support, delivering value initiatives, i.e., support GM in Energy, strategic property acquisition and disposal
- Identify Prepare and maintain Policies and Procedures for Property Management functions.
- Operate and maintain the property maintenance platform.
- Prepare business reports in relation to property maintenance.
- Prepare and maintain a preferred and compliant maintenance contractors register for the portfolio across NSW.
- Manage and administer all matters relating to property maintenance including triage of maintenance issues, procure and deliver all maintenance to property, building, plant, and equipment across the portfolio.
- Administer and manage minor projects delivery as required.
- Prepare business reports reporting and compliance as required.
- Analyse the function for improvement and the performance of this function.
- Support key strategic initiatives in energy consumption, strategic property acquisition and disposal.
- Support capital procurement and delivery as required.
- Collaboration with Finance and Risk & Audit departments on the Asset Management System requirements to ensure compliance.
- Support Internal and external tender and bid management.
**ABOUT US**
Established in 1937, PCYC NSW is a life changing charity collaborating in partnership with communities and NSW Police to empower youth, get kids active in life and reduce and prevent youth crime. We have sixty-six clubs and eighteen OOSH services across NSW, with a vision for significant growth.
Our aim is to engage with and positively influence over 70,000 youth members through mainstream sport, recreation, education, leadership, and cultural programs. We also work with at-risk youth to break the cycle of disadvantage through crime prevention, vocational education, youth capacity building and social responsibility programs to enhance the life direction and outcomes of over 7,500 youth per year.
**ABOUT YOU**
In this role, you’ll need to bring a blend of academic credentials, practical experience, and strong communication skills to the table. Here’s what we’re looking for:
- **Education**:You hold tertiary qualifications in Property Asset/Facilities Management, providing you with a solid academic foundation for this role.
- **Experience**:With demonstrated experience working in property management roles across various sectors, including sports and recreation, education, or government facilities, you bring a wealth of practical knowledge to the position. Your expertise in effective assets and facilities management processes, delivery, and reporting ensures that properties are maintained to the highest standards.
- **Team Player**:You have a proven track record of working collaboratively within teams directly and indirectly to achieve common objectives in portfolio property management.
- **Facilities Management Skills**:Your experience in facilities management, including fire compliance, air conditioning, cleaning, CCTV, security, minor capital projects, and property maintenance, equips you to handle diverse property management challenges. You have demonstrated proficiency in asset management and administration, particularly in facilities plant and equipment.
- **Procurement Expertise**:You are familiar with multiple types of property and assets services procurement processes, enabling you to effectively manage contracts and agreements. Your track record of competitive contracts procurement showcases your ability to drive cost-effective solutions.
- **Communication Skills**:Strong written and verbal communication skills allow you to communicate effectively across all levels of business relationships, both internally and externally.
- **Technical Proficiency**:Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of products, including Word, Excel, Project, Adobe Acrobat, and Power BI, enhances your ability to analyse data and streamline processes.
You will have the confidence to deliver and demonstrated experience across the role responsibilities.
You will be required to inspect our clubs from time to time across NSW. For all travel, access to a PCYC pool vehicle will be provided when required.
