We're hiring a Senior Facilities Manager to lead operations at our flagship WA asset, Westfield Carousel. This newly created role offers the chance to step into a high-impact position, drive operational excellence, and experience all that Perth has to offer

Your opportunity

In this role, you'll lead facilities management at Westfield Carousel while also providing support across the broader WA region. You will oversee the integrated management and maintenance of the infrastructure throughout the living centre, ensuring life safety, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, whilst supporting commercial outcomes.

The Senior Facilities Manager also plays a key role in providing technical leadership across the region to maintain safe, clean and compliant environments. You will work closely with the National Operations and Environment team to support the delivery of key national operational and environmental initiatives across the region.

Your role and responsibilities will include, but not limited to
:

  • Deliver day-to-day best in class facilities' services in line with needs of Centre team to deliver excellence in customer experience.
  • Analyse data for opportunities to further improve the asset's environmental performance
  • Provide coaching and guidance to the facilities team, creating a supportive environment where they can thrive and deliver best in class facilities' services.
  • Develop a detailed asset life cycle plan for the centre, communicating facilities' priorities and capital requirements.
  • Manage contractor deliverables through effective partner relationships.
  • Provide immediate response to all emergency, evacuation, or other incidents within the centre, ensuring that all facts are accurate and escalated in a timely manner, following the agreed incident management processes.
  • Direct all asset maintenance, repair, and capital works, with stakeholder input to ensure the best practicable, cost-effective solution.
  • Provide technical support and guidance across the region for key operational deliverables and initiatives.

As a part of our asset team, you will also have Duty Management responsibilities from time to time too, where you'll be required to work a weekend shift (on a roster), which will be balanced with a day off in lieu.

What sets you apart?

  • Relevant experience in retail, hospitality, property, facilities management, or other customer service environment
  • Diploma or tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Trade, Building Services or Facilities Management
  • Commercial expertise to manage financials and provide recommendations on operating and capital costs
