**The Opportunity**:
Urbis has an exciting opportunity for an experienced planning consultant to join our team in Brisbane. This is a great opportunity for motivated individuals wanting to shape cities and communities.

As a Consultant in Planning, you will have the chance to demonstrate your understanding of statutory and strategic urban planning, playing a vital role in providing input across various services.

**You will**:

- Respond quickly and communicate in a clear, concise and transparent manner to internal and external clients.
- Provide input into draft proposals, tenders and submissions for projects.
- Work alongside other professionals on a range of multi-disciplinary projects, working to specification, to deadlines, within budget and with a commercial outcome.

**About You**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Regional and Urban/Town Planning or a related discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in statutory or strategic planning desirable, ideally gained in a consultancy or local government environment.
- Demonstrates a developing appreciation and understanding of statutory planning frameworks, controls and processes.
