**The Opportunity**:
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Consultant to join our Brisbane Planning team. You will have the opportunity to provide high quality advice relating to land use, development capability, due diligence assessments, masterplans, the approval process and management.
The role will be supported by highly experienced Directors and a market leading national Planning team. You will be involved in maintaining new and existing relationships with clients.
**You will**:
- Draft proposals and provide effective high-quality advice to clients.
- Provide input into tenders and submissions for projects.
- Respond efficiently and clearly to internal and external clients.
- Work alongside other professionals on a range of multi-disciplinary projects, working to specification, to deadlines, within budget and with a commercial outcome.
- Have opportunities to work in and with regional and indigenous communities around the state.
- Prepare weekly timesheets and input to monthly accounts.
**About You**:
- Tertiary qualifications in urban Planning or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in statutory or strategic planning is desirable, ideally gained in a consultancy or state, local government environment.
- Able to prioritise the competing demands of multiple projects within the agreed timeframe.
- Strong capability in written and verbal communications and engagement with a variety of stakeholders.
- An appreciation and understanding of impacts and issues affecting land use and development.
- Passionate about planning with an inherent desire to challenge the status quo
