**Position overview**:
allnex invites you to join us as a dynamic and results-driven **Account Manager**for **Composites**business in **Wacol QLD**. Under the guidance of the State Sales Manager, you will oversee designated customer accounts in Queensland, driving revenue growth, enhancing profitability, and contributing significantly to the success of our allnex Composites business.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a fast-evolving industry.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage assigned customer accounts to ensure sustained revenue growth and profitability.
- Meet or surpass the annual budget for the region, including volume and marginal income targets.
- Effectively negotiate contracts and pricing in a competitive market landscape.
- Identify and pursue new business and product opportunities with existing and potential clients, crafting strategies to drive success.
- Develop and implement comprehensive account plans aligned with the Global Business Unit strategy and marketing objectives, ensuring internal communication of formal plans and objectives.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Technical Service teams to ensure successful product launches, with innovation as a core focus.
- Gather and provide actionable insights on market trends and competitive activities.
- Maintain working capital levels in compliance with company standards.
- Ensure the organization and maintenance of CRM systems in line with company standards.
**Required skills and experience**:
- 5 years of proven success in a Technical Sales/Commercial role is essential.
- Demonstrated expertise in sales, relationship building, and a strong drive to achieve and exceed targets.
- A high level of dedication to understanding and fulfilling customer needs.
- Exceptional organizational abilities and territory management expertise.
- Solid understanding of fundamental business principles and financial insights.
- Proficiency in preparing technical reports, trial plans, and proposals.
- A proactive, self-driven approach with the ability to work independently.
- Effective team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Uphold a high degree of integrity in all interactions with customers and within the organization.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
**Qualifications**:
- University Degree in Chemical Engineering, Commercial/Marketing or other related field.
