**About the role**:
InfraBuild is Australia’s only fully vertically-integrated steel manufacturer spanning scrap metal recycling, steel manufacturing and downstream distribution. Reporting to the Ferrous Trading Manager, as a Trading Account Manager, you will be responsible for scrap metal trading, both ferrous and non-ferrous, as well as coordinating delivery to nominated InfraBuild Recycling facilities. You will contribute to operational safety as well as driving excellence in customer service. This role is based out of Wacol.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Developing new business and overseeing a portfolio of existing customers
- Developing rapport with customers, tailoring our products and service offerings to their specific needs
- Implementing sales strategies to help develop and grow the business
- Prioritising work demands to manage customer retention and satisfaction
- Negotiating quotes, taking into account bespoke customer requirements
- Contributing to sales presentations and tender reviews/submissions
- General continuous improvement initiatives

**About your experience**:
You are an experienced, confident decision maker who never walks past an opportunity for improvement. You will work with the Recycling Lead Team, Trading Team, logistics as well as customers on a regular basis to ensure efficient coordination. You will have passion for delivering on time, within budget and to a high standard.

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have strong experience in metals trading, tender, sales or account management
- Ideally have experience in steel, scrap or waste management or recycling industries
- Demonstrate the ability to influence outcomes with various stakeholder groups to achieve strategic objectives
- Ensure adherence to relevant company policies including safe work practices
- Be able to identify opportunities for growth or improvement across a complex business
- Great computer skills and self-motivated
