**Key Responsibilities**:
**Sales and Business Development**:
Establish and maintain relationships with bookstores and other retail outlets.
Identify and pursue sales opportunities to increase the presence and sales of our publications.
Negotiate terms and manage the distribution of books to various retail outlets.

**Marketing and Promotions**:
Develop and execute marketing strategies tailored to bookstores and retail channels.
Coordinate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and displays for retail outlets.
Organize and participate in events such as book fairs, signings, and readings to increase brand visibility and sales.

**Market Research and Analysis**:
Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive strategies in the bookstore and retail markets.
Analyze sales data to understand performance and identify areas for growth.

**Customer and Client Relations**:
Serve as the primary point of contact for bookstore clients and retail partners.
Provide exceptional customer service and support to enhance relationships and facilitate repeat business.

**Collaboration and Teamwork**:
Work closely with the marketing and editorial teams to align sales strategies with overall business goals.
Coordinate with logistics and distribution teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to retail outlets.

**Requirements and skills**
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, marketing, or a similar role, preferably in the publishing industry.
- Strong understanding of the retail landscape for books and publications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
