Sales Support Officer

**_As a Sales Support Officer you are responsible for providing functional support to the field sales team and dealer network. This support is focused on driving retail sales activity through both the dealer network and direct retail channels to acquire new customers and increase the rate of customer retention. Within this role, your primary responsibilities also include providing support to the customer base with inbound enquiries and customer profile maintenance._**
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- **Provide territory relief to during prolonged periods of SFM absentee**:
- **Provide quoting support to all Retail sales channels**:
- **Attend to direct sales enquires, providing quotes and assistance where required**:
- **Make contact with customers before finalisation of their existing account to sell additional finance or re-financing options**:
- **Follow up on all quotes given**:
- **Provide support to the field sales team to complete the packaging of a deal prior to assessment where required**:
- **Look for and execute opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell, providing lead generations to the dealer network**:
- **Produce and distribute loan documentation as required for each sales channels**:
- **Support field team and dealers to ensure settlements occur in a timely manner**:
- **Maintain contracts in FIS including customer’s personal details, assignments, and equipment details**:
- **Make amendments to direct debit plans as requested by customers**:
- **Calculate payout and partial payout quotes for Retail finance agreements**:
- **Provide overflow support to the Business Operations team during peak periods**:
- **Completes business plans, other reports and documentation as required**:
- **Ensures compliance measures are met**
YOUR KEY COMPETENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Finance and / or Banking industry experience
- Exposure to financial documentation (eg. goods mortgages, financial leases)
- Internal sales or telesales experience
- Strong computer literacy including MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Experience in analyzing sales data and preparing sales reports
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Excellent task management skills
- Language Requirement(s): English
