An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Retail Marketing Manager to join our NSW Retail Marketing Team. As part of the team that works across The Streets of Barangaroo and Darling Square, this role will see you lead the strategic marketing direction, placemaking, and brand while fostering and building key stakeholder relationships across the two precincts.

The Streets of Barangaroo is Sydney's leading waterfront dining destination. With over 90 retailers offering a curated collection of fine foods, fashion and wellness.

Located in Haymarket, just 10 minutes from Town Hall and Central Stations, Darling Square is home to the 70 diverse retailers across food & beverage and fashion & lifestyle services. Standing in prime position is The Exchange building by Kengo Kuma, that has been heralded by TIME Magazine in the 2021 list of ‘World’s Greatest Places.’

What you will be doing:
In this permanent, full-time position, you will be responsible for leading, managing and driving the strategic marketing direction of both precincts to drive customer visitation and loyalty, optimise sustainable sales for our retailers and build the precincts' brand equity.

With two Marketing Executives reporting to you, you will lead the team, drawing on research, data analytics and insights to inform your strategies including the delivery of high profile, PR-able, activations and events whilst liaising with a number of the precinct’s key stakeholders.

About you:
You will have a demonstrated understanding of strategic marketing planning and budgeting, digital marketing and social media, preferably in retail. You will have proven experience in managing diverse stakeholder groups and strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as having a strong creative flair.

Ideally you will have tertiary qualifications and proven experience in a similar marketing role, ideally within Property or Retail.
