**About the Role**:
The Coordinator, Volunteer Ranger Program is responsible for the management of the department's Volunteer Ranger program. The Program Coordinator is also responsible for the development and implementation of strategies, initiatives and projects that encourage and support volunteer engagement and facilitate best practice volunteer management across the state, particularly in the areas of volunteer recognition, engagement, communication and training.

**Contract**:
Contract for up to 12 September 2025

**Special Conditions**:

- Will be required to participate in fire management and associated duties.
- Current class “C" driver's licence and willingness and ability to safely operate a 4WD is essential.
- Out of hours work requiring overnight absences, including camping and remote area travel may be required.
- Inter and intra state travel, and travel in a light plane may be required.

**Remuneration**:
ASO5 $85,790 min - $95,413 max p.a.

- Prior experience working with volunteers.
- Experience using a volunteer management system (or similar software).
- Demonstrated ability to use written and oral communication skills to communicate to a diverse audience (inc using social media, delivering webinars and training, conducting volunteer interviews and inductions).
- Demonstrated experience in program coordination.
