UAC is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented **People and Culture Coordinator** to join our dynamic team
As the **People and Culture Coordinator**, you will play a key role in supporting UAC’s people strategy, ensuring a seamless employee experience, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys recruitment, is highly organised, and wants to grow in all areas of HR services.
You will be responsible for:
- **Onboarding & Offboarding** - welcoming new employees with engaging inductions and exit processes.
- **First point of contact** - providing advice in line with policies and escalating as needed.
- **Culture & Wellbeing Initiatives** - leading events and activities to enhance employee engagement and workplace wellbeing.
- **HR Administration & Compliance** - maintaining and updating records and systems, and ensuring compliance with policies and legislative changes.
- **Project Support** - contributing to People and Culture initiatives, research, and data analysis.
**What We’re Looking For**
We’re seeking a passionate, driven and collaborative professional with:
- **Experience in recruitment**, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
- **Strong communication skills** - both written and verbal - with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally.
- **Excellent attention to detail** and strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- **A proactive and team-oriented mindset**, eager to learn and grow within HR.
- **The ability to build strong relationships** with stakeholders at all levels.
- **Experience in HR systems and databases** (highly regarded but not essential).
