**THE COMPANY**
Lotus People are delighted to be working with an exciting Australian payments business to find a People and Culture administration professional to join their team. This is a medium sized business (500+ employees), with an office location conveniently close to Wynyard station and some of Sydney's best cafes and lunch spots. The business highly value flexibility, and you can expect to work from home 2-3 days per week. **THE ROLE**
We are looking for a People & Culture Coordinator to join a collaborative team and provide HR administrative support to the People & Culture Department and other stakeholders. As a People & Culture Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing HR processes and ensuring that employees receive a positive experience throughout their employment lifecycle.
**Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with the People & Culture team and Payroll to ensure that all HR-related data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Coordinate the onboarding process, including creating positions, issuing employment contracts, and conducting background checks.
- Support People Leaders and Business Partners by creating and distributing employee correspondence, including letters and contracts for internal movements, promotions, and changes.
- Manage and update People & Culture-related information on the company's internal portal.
- Ensure timely and accurate payments of accounts, such as training and recruitment budgets.
- Assist in producing and updating company policies and procedures in compliance with legal requirements.
- Support the implementation of People & Culture programs and projects, including administrative support for research and data collection.
- Coordinate and support wellbeing activities and employee events.
- Ensure the security and confidentiality of information.
- Provide support to the team as required.
**Requirements**:
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar HR administrative role, preferably in a dynamic environment.
- Solid understanding of HR processes and policies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Exceptional service delivery ethic with the proven ability to consistently follow processes end-to-end.
- High attention to detail.
- Intermediate to advanced skills across Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
