Lead the software upgrade from CM9 to CM10, whilst performing BAU tasks
- Based in the Inner West of Sydney and ability to work from home
- Managing 3 experienced staff and external supplier/providers
This temporary (possibly temp-to-perm) position is to work within a Local Council based in the Inner West of Sydney (just a short 5 mins walk from buses and trains).
As the Records Coordinator, you will lead a small team of 3 experienced Records staff and report into the Manager of Governance and Risk, who boasts an extensive background working for various Local Councils.
You will continue important work with a major software upgrade from Content Manager 9.2 to Content Manager 10.0 either as Project Manager or Subject Matter Expert. Out with the traditional business as usual Records tasks, you will also refresh Council’s recordkeeping compliance training, making strong use of their intranet capability by creating ‘how to’ videos.
You will lead the development of a Records Management Strategy and may also have exposure to Council’s 5yr digitisation program, to meet legislative requirements for safekeeping of physical records.
To be considered, you will:
- have extensive experience using document management and/or records management systems such as: Dataworks, ECM, TRIM, CM9, CM10.
- Understand the public recordkeeping framework set by State Records NSW, and be familiar with the Records Management Assessment Tool
- have contributed to the implementation of a new software in a previous workplace, liaising with various stakeholders.
- Ideally you will have a blend practical experience in records and information management and be able to develop a strong strategic perspective to align deliverables against
- Ideally you will have a background in either local government, state government or federal government,
