Marketing and Events Coordinator

**The Rev. Bill Crews Foundation is one of Sydney's largest frontline charities and has been operating for 38 years. **Our mission is to provide assistance to address the cause and effect of homelessness and poverty faced by marginalised individuals. Are you ready to be the powerhouse behind incredible events and impactful marketing campaigns? We're seeking a dynamic Marketing and Events Coordinator to join our team at the Rev. Bill Crews Foundation ('BCF'). Here's your chance to dive into a role where you'll strategise, organise, and execute a variety of exciting events and marketing initiatives.
- **Marketing**:You'll be our online expert, coordinating all things digital - from website updates to engaging social media posts. Your mission? Boost awareness by posting daily, attract donors, and foster community engagement.
- **Events**: Get ready to be the mastermind behind seamless events From planning to execution, you'll ensure every detail is perfect, all while engaging attendees and keeping the energy high.

**RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE**

MARKETING:

- Take initiative to engage with the BCF community, bringing our stories online and nurturing connections.
- Promote the Foundation to the community by posting on BCF social media platforms daily in line with the Social Media policy.
- Assist with all online platforms, creating updates and executing strategies to increase audience and engagement.
- Develop and implement marketing and social media campaigns for the Foundation, working closely with each relevant department.
- Assist with the Rev. Bill Crews’ website blogs and podcast updates.
- Coordinate the content calendar ensuring that all posts have been reviewed, updated, scheduled, and published on time.
- Examine performance metrics for social media campaigns, gauge campaign effectiveness, detect patterns and produce informed reporting based on data.
- Oversee the various libraries of photos, logos, brand identity kits and marketing collateral.
- Create and design promotional materials, when requested.
- Work with the Fundraising Manager to ensure marketing campaigns are in line with fundraising initiatives.
- Ensure the website content remains up to date by verifying accuracy with each department head and aligning the website branding with our established guidelines.

EVENTS
- Engage with event attendees, fostering connections (and training others to do so), offering guidance, addressing concerns, and consistently evaluating overall customer satisfaction to uphold BCF’s high standards.
- Ensure seamless planning, execution, and oversight of events, maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and proactively resolving any logístical issues that may arise.
- Monitor and work with Site Manager and Fundraising Manager as required to manage event risks.
- Develop and implement engagement strategies for events and the events calendar.
- Provide administrative support for events, including sourcing venues / equipment and obtaining quotes from suppliers, liaising with relevant department heads as needed.
- Promote events internally and externally in line with marketing duties.
- Cultivate relationships with community members, stakeholders, and organisations, acting as the primary contact for event inquiries.
- Coordinate with Fundraising Manager on event budgets to ensure financial objectives are met and expenditures remain within allocated limits.
- Collaborate and liaise with department heads and stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of event goals and high-level service delivery and to understand event goals.

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Advanced skills and knowledge in Canva, Adobe and Salesforce
- Some marketing, communications, social media experience
- Some event / projects experience
