The Rev. Bill Crews Foundation is one of Sydney's largest frontline charities, supporting vulnerable communities for almost 40 years.
Our mission is to address the causes and effects of homelessness, poverty, and disadvantage. We do this through a combination of vital services such as free meals, healthcare, social support, and education programs. Every day, we work to restore dignity, offer hope, and create real change for those doing it tough.
THE ROLE
We're looking for a Fundraising Coordinator to join our passionate team on a full-time basis.
As a key member of our organisation, you'll drive donor engagement and fundraising campaigns that help ensure we can continue supporting those who need it most. This is a dynamic and rewarding role where creativity, relationship-building, and strategic thinking come together to make a tangible difference in people's lives.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you'll:
- Develop and deliver strategies to attract, engage, and retain donors across multiple channels.
- Plan, manage, and evaluate direct mail appeals and integrate them with digital campaigns.
- Lead and grow regular giving and bequest programs.
- Build meaningful relationships with donors, keeping them connected to the impact of their support
- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver high-quality, on-time campaigns.
- Monitor fundraising performance, use data insights to refine strategies, and report against KPIs.
- Ensure donor data is accurately maintained in Salesforce.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You'll be a motivated, donor-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing, fundraising, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years' experience in fundraising, with proven results in direct mail, digital campaigns, and donor retention.
- Experience with regular giving and/or bequest programs (highly desirable).
- Excellent communication and copywriting skills, with a compassionate and donor-centric tone.
- Strong project management skills and ability to juggle multiple campaigns.
- Confidence with CRM systems (ideally Salesforce), data, and reporting.
- Creativity, initiative, and a results-driven approach.
