Reporting into the Director and Business Manager, you will be responsible for the purchasing of all materials, consumables, scheduling, document control, stock take and the maintenance of supplier relationships to ensure client projects and timelines are maintained.

**Key Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Maintain workshop consumables and stock items levels
- Raise and send purchase orders to suppliers
- Code purchase orders and ensure orders are within the company budgets
- Negotiate best rates from suppliers
- Manage inwards goods into the costing software
- Document control for the production department (i.e., drawings)
- Assist and maintain spreadsheets for the production departments
- Conduct Monthly stocktakes
- Actively build strong relationships with all stakeholders

**Skills and Core Requirements**
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in purchasing, procurement and administration ideally with a builder, precast, structure contractor or within the building industry
- Hold a current Drivers Licence & motor vehicle
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Previous experience within precast will be highly regarded.
- Ability to communicate and report effectively
- Has attention to detail and the ability to meet deadline
- Experience working with Benchwork Project management systems or similar
- Proficient at Excel and Word
