We are actively recruiting for a key EHS leadership position, offering a unique opportunity to lead the EHS function for the Lendlease Investment Management and Capella business units. Reporting directly to the Head of EHS, Australia, with a dotted line into the MD Investment Management & MD Capella, this role will develop EHS strategy, driving a unified and proactive EHS culture across the business. Providing strategic EHS advice and guidance, ensuring appropriate best practice policies & systems are implemented, you will support the growth of our funds business, across the lifecycle of fully integrated infrastructure and asset solutions.

Key deliverables include (but are not limited to):

- Develop an annual EHS Business (strategic) Plan for Environment, Health & Safety including annual objectives and targets to drive performance outcomes.
- Ensure EHS Management System and related policies, procedures, guidelines and work practices meet the Lendlease EHS Global Minimum Requirements (GMR), and related codes, standards and the requirements of ISO 45001 and ISO14001 certification.
- Work with key internal and external stakeholders to establish a robust and integrated approach to the management of EHS throughout the lifecycle of operations across our retail and commercial assets, managed funds, bids and private public partnerships
- Undertake adequate EHS due diligence on any ‘new opportunity’ at appropriate stages
- Prepare reports for, and present to Lendlease internal and external boards on EHS performance and compliance
- Support the Investment Management and Capella MDs in facilitating EHS senior leadership meetings
- Actively work with and support the asset management teams in delivering world class operational EHS performance across asset facilities
- Oversee the rollout of EHS culture, health and wellbeing initiatives across the Investment Management business.
- Establish a clear EHS strategy for relevant assets that compliments the wider Australia EHS strategy
- Ensuring regional operational leadership are kept informed of all; significant risks, incidents and non-conformances across regional operations
- Act as a trusted advisor to our fund managers, MDs and external customers

Your recent professional experience gained in a complex, large-scale environment at a leadership level, will demonstrate and showcase your ability to provide strategic leadership and operational capability. You will have previous experience providing EHS leadership in similar organisations, and have a deep understanding of the legal and compliance obligations associated with these businesses.
