The Role:
We have a unique opportunity for a General Manager, Pop Up and Commercialisation to join our Investment Management business on a 12-month fixed term contract, covering Parental Leave. This is a full-time role, based at our Sydney Barangaroo office.

Your role as GM Pop & Commercialisation is to maximise the net return to property owners through managing existing income streams, inclusive of Pop Up, Vending and Telcos, and Brand and Media Partnerships across Lendlease sectors, as well as introducing new innovative income streams. Building long term sustainable relationships with national clients and internal stakeholders is key whilst driving the strategic delivery of a growing, multi-million-dollar revenue stream

You will also be responsible for the development, implementation, and communication to all stakeholders of the strategic direction of the business function. You’ll play a critical role in leading a team of around 15 people based across the country, with your key partners and internal stakeholders being primarily based in Sydney.

Some of your duties will include:

- Development and delivery of strategic business plan for Pop Up and Commercialisation
- Assessing and articulating market potential for new income opportunities
- Setting and driving the future direction of the business including the use of new technologies and cross function expansion
- Development, tracking and achievement of budgets
- Establishing, implementing, and monitoring best practice processes across the business
- Management of Head Office based roles including performance appraisals and development plans
- Assisting Centre Managers to complete performance appraisals and development plans for centre-based Pop Up team members
- Management of all national contract clients, including new licence management

We’d love to hear from you if:

- You have relevant tertiary qualifications (post graduate qualifications are highly desirable)
- Several years’ experience in a National Pop Up, Commercialisation or Leasing role
- You’re a first-class decision maker with strong influencing skills
- You have strong overall leadership, problem solving and organisational planning skills
- You have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment autonomously with a natural collaborative nature when required
- You can easily adjust to new situations and help others around you adapt to change
