About the Role
- Provide reception duties including telephone enquiries, face-to-face enquiries, assistance and redirection where appropriate, arrangement of transport for patients, medical documents, x-rays and medications, arrange follow up appointments, faxing, photocopying and taking accurate messages for staff and patients. Provide a high level of administrative support to the Nurse Unit Manager and staff within the designated ward area. Including the responsibilities of admissions, discharges and transfers of patients, filing, preparing documents for scanning into the Electronic Medical Record, confidential record management, stationery management, correspondence management. Manage workload appropriately by prioritising tasks and ensuring work is completed within designated timeframes.
