**Job description - Business Development Executive**

Backed by a solid suite of marketing collateral and a first-class engineering team, the successful applicant will have all of the support required to develop the role and thereby increase our customer base.

As a Business Development Executive at HydPower Hydraulics, you will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, developing and implementing growth strategies, and building strong relationships with clients. You will collaborate closely with the marketing team to achieve targets and drive business success. The role will also include immersing yourself in HydPower’s culture and embodying our core values in every aspect of your work.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers to accelerate customer engagement and drive growth
- Own and drive our products from a business development perspective
- Develop and execute a business plan to achieve this
- Build a great understanding of all products and product categories and use the knowledge effectively to drive customer growth
- Generate leads and drive new business
- Continuously drive to increase sales by understanding and responding to customer needs
- Create strategies for expanding the company's customer base and market presence
- Collaborate with the marketing department to generate effective marketing campaigns
- Identify potential clients and decision-makers within the target market
- Report on sales activities and budgetary requirements
- Keep abreast of industry trends, competition, and market conditions

**Requirements**:

- Preferred experience selling to engineering/Agricultural industries
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Experience using CRM system (not essential)
- Demonstrated ability to build strong and influential relationships
- Good commercial awareness with a passion and drive to succeed
- Ability to work autonomously and able to take ownership of results
- Self-motivated, driven and familiar with remote working condition
- Good time management & organisational skills

The role would suit someone with an out going personality and has a good telephone manner. Any type of experience in sales particularly in engineering &/or agriculture would be looked on favourably. Full product training will of course be given to the successful applicant.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Freelance, Temp to perm

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Supplementary Pay:

- Commission

- Mornington, VIC 3931: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
