**About the role**:
As part of our growth journey, we are looking for a talented
**Collections Specialist** to join our Billing & Operations Team. This role is responsible for working with our Cars, Jobs and Advertising customers to provide on-time payments for services rendered. You will Empower and educate our customers by understanding their business needs and delivering a sustainable return on investment, ultimately creating Gumtree advocates.

**What you’ll you do**:

- Collection of monthly invoices on assigned accounts through outbound calling
- Investigating and resolving customer payment allocation issues and preparing detailed statements
- Managing customer payment plans
- Documenting customer contact
- Meet collections & customer service KPI’s include call pick up and case resolution SLA’s
- Maintain open & professional communication and keep detailed records of all customer interactions

**What you’ll bring**:

- Min 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Great Customer relationship skills, with the ability to manage conversations and engage with customers
- Strong relationship building skills to be able to work closely with our key internal stakeholders including Sales & Customer Service
- Familiarity with the collections / dunning process
- Experience with Salesforce is highly desirable but not required
- Proficient in account reconciliation and ability to use Excel to an intermediate level
- Ability to multitask whilst maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to represent the brand with utmost professionalism when interacting with customers
