Hays are working with an iconic Tasmanian brand and organisation in their search for a People & Culture Business Partner to join their People & Culture team on a permanent, full-time basis.

**Your new role**

As a People & Culture Business Partner, you will provide strategic guidance and support to the organisations leaders, enabling them to create a high-performing and inclusive workplace. Collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation, you will develop and implement HR practices that align with their core values and meet the diverse needs of the workforce.

Your responsibilities will include partnering with leaders to navigate HR policies, procedures, and compliance with employment regulations. You will collaborate with stakeholders to address culture, capabilities, and capacity requirements. Additionally, you will empower and coach leaders to develop effective leadership practices within their teams.

Designing and implementing innovative HR policies and procedures will be crucial to your role. You will manage end-to-end recruitment processes to attract top talent and contribute to performance and learning initiatives for engaged and skilled teams. Supporting change initiatives and effectively managing employee relations matters will also be part of your responsibilities.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To excel in this role, you will need substantial proven experience as a trusted HR Business Partner, providing strategic advice to leaders. Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders is essential. A strong understanding of employment legislation and regulations is required. You should have a proven track record of successfully implementing HR programs aligned with organisational goals.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a coaching mindset, will be instrumental in this role. Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities are vital. Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities are necessary. Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced and changing environment are also highly valued.
