Opportunity for an experienced Human Resource Business Partner to join a Tasmanian organisation in Hobart

**Your new company**

Join a Tasmanian organisation as their next Human Resources Business Partner. This well-known organisation is committed to creating an exceptional employee experience and driving organisational success. Working with their HR team, you will collaborate with the business and wider leadership teams to shape the employee journey and foster a positive work environment.

**Your new role**

As a Human Resource Business Partner (HR BP), you will play a pivotal role in aligning this organisation's human resources strategies with their business objectives. This position sits within the BP team with three other HR BP’s who all report into the Lead HR BP. The HR BP is assigned their own portfolio to manage and will work with the full employee lifecycle, support the talent team with job design and recruitment, performance management, industrial relations and working with the L&D team for people development as well.

This role will be attractive to a HR professional who wishes to be involved in cultural change while having a strong ability to upskill leaders within the organisation. The current processes in place are quite foundational with scope to be evolved. This is a hands-on position.

You will collaborate closely with the wider people team and business leadership to enhance employee engagement, drive performance, and cultivate a positive work culture. Your primary focus will be to promote a high-performing, inclusive, and collaborative work environment that supports the organisation's mission and values.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and capabilities. A qualification in human resources or equivalent experience is essential. You should have extensive experience in a strategic HR generalist or specialist role, dealing with complex employee-related matters and contemporary HR practices. A profound understanding of employee relations, health, safety, and well-being, as well as relevant legislation, is required.

You should also have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver high-quality outcomes within deadlines. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills are crucial for building effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels. You should have a proven ability to provide sound people's advice and partner with the business. Autonomy and sound judgement in decision-making are valued, along with a proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and a team player mindset.

**What you'll get in return**

You’ll receive a great salary package, excellent working conditions and the potential for career growth within a large organisation of professionals. You will also have access to free on-site parking, paid volunteer days and on-site gym facilities.

**What you need to do now**

If this role sounds like the correct fit for you, please send me a copy of your most up-to-date CV for review, including a one-page cover letter explaining your experience and how you align with this position.
