**The opportunity**

Silverchain is recruiting a **Contract Systems Officer** to join the Contracts and Procurement team on a 12-month fixed term contract.

Reporting to the Procurement Operations Lead, the role of Contract Systems Officer will be responsible for undertaking a program of change management to embed and streamline the use of our Contract Management System (CMS) and ensure it is maintained, up to date and aligned to business process and policies. The role will proactively look for contract administration improvement opportunities for all contracts across the business.

This role will also proactively suggest and embed process and system improvement opportunities for our aged care subcontract administration, including compliance.

**Key responsibilities**

The major accountabilities of this position are:
**Contract Management System (CMS)**
- Work to build and enhance use of the CMS across the business, suggesting improvements to make this simpler and more streamlined.
- Implement training on our CMS system as Subject Matter Expert to support use of the CMS effectively.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve contract management processes and procedures.
- Provide guidance on contract lifecycle administration and best practice.
- Ensure that all contract documents and legal templates are properly maintained in the CMS.
- Monitor and report on system performance and identify any issues or risks.
- Support the development and implement strategies to improve contract management practices.

**Aged Care Subcontracts Administration**
- Proactively recommend system and process changes to streamline our onboarding and administration of third-party aged care suppliers.
- Proactively recommend system and process changes to streamline compliance checking of these providers as required by applicable legislation.
- Work with our Subcontract Officers to provide guidance and help manage workload.

**About you**

Specific qualification requirements that are necessary for the role:

- Diploma/Certificate/Tertiary qualifications in business, procurement and/or change management is desirable.
- Industry experience working with administration of contracts and/or compliance operations.
- Passion for community work - understanding of aged care service provision is desirable.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build strong internal relationships including working within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong customer experience focus.
- Ability to work independently and proactively, identifying issues and solutions.
- Advanced computer skills and strong data analysis and reporting skills.
- Experience with Agiloft or similar contract management systems is desirable.
