GENERAL OBJECTIVES

The Accounts Receivable role is to ensure Crisis receives timely payments for its services and records these transactions accordingly. It also includes securing revenue by verifying receipts and payments, and resolving any discrepancies.

The role requires excellent organisational and articulate communication skills, as well as attention to detail to spot any issues that may arise.

The Accounts Receivable reports directly to the General Manager and must protect and promote Crisis’ best interest at all times.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
- Maintain the billing system and report any issues or improvements
- Ensure system automated invoices/statements/summaries are in order and correct
- Asses creditability of prospective clients and create customer accounts
- Perform account reconciliations
- Secure, confidential collection of personal and company information necessary or directly related for the recovery of debt on customer accounts and cash payments
- Maintain accounts receivable files and customer records
- Investigate and resolve any irregularities or enquires
- Assist in general financial management and analysis
- Ensure accuracy of contract drivers payment records

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrate ability to prioritise and manage expectations
- Demonstrate eloquent communication skills
- Proactive conflict resolution and strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and accurately
- Excellent time management and organisational skills with attention to detail
- Experience in customer support is preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with Legacy systems preferred
- A mathematical or accounts background is desirable
- Answer customer service and booking calls when required

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- North Sydney NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Accounts receivable: 1 year (required)
