*Position Description*Reporting to the Credit Manager and working within a small team, you will be responsible for:

  • Manage a debtors ledger of national accounts
  • Daily reconciliation of the accounts
  • Reminders and follow up of overdue accounts as required
  • Providing high level of customer support to varying internal and external stakeholders
  • Handle and assess credit applications
  • Allocation and receipting of payments
  • Review and set up new accounts and customers, including the completion of credit checks
  • Collaboratively participate in strategic planning and continued process improvement
  • Ad hoc tasks as required

*Ideal Candidate*The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Accounts Receivable / Credit Officer role, as well as the following attributes:

  • Demonstrated ability to confidently work autonomously as well collaboratively in a team environment
  • High level time management skills & the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Personable nature and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
  • High level numeracy and reconciliation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a high volume and fast paced environment
