**In this role you will**: - Leading a team, you will be required to provide mentoring and coaching to encourage innovation, maximum efficiency, and improved business relationships. Actively participate in performance conversations to build and support a culture of performance improvement. - Contribute to the development and implementation of business strategies, resources and processes that ensure achievement of corporate goals and objectives including providing high level technical advice on opportunities for improvement of Valuation Operations. Lead a team of supervisors who coordinate and manage the processing of Land Valuation Act 2010 dealings in accordance with established policies, legislation and directives and prioritise work in accordance with targets and timelines. Liaise and develop effective relationships with clients, regional communities, and Local agencies in relation to valuation issues. - Co-ordinate and prioritise projects to ensure successful outcomes are achieved in a timely, appropriate, and efficient manner, including the activities of subordinate staff. Prepare reports, briefs, submissions, and correspondence of a substantial and complex nature, including Ministerial correspondence. Provide authoritative, professional, and timely advice on valuation land matters, the interpretation of relevant legislation and the formulation and improvement of relevant procedures. Provide state-wide support, advice, and training on valuation matters to SVS staff (including developing training materials). Travel away from the centre will be required. This may involve travel outside of normal office hours and/or overnight accommodation for extended periods. - Other duties as directed and required.
