**ABOUT OUR CLIENT AND THE ROLE**
Our clients is a multi-awarding winning Australian hospitality business with almost two decades of experience. Our client has over 150 locations around Australia and have been heavily committed to supporting Australia communities donating over $6M to community groups around Australia.
They require an experienced AP Officer for an 8 month mat leave contract for an immediate start.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Comply with company policies and procedures
- Prepare payment files and process EFT payments in bank including international currencies;
- Assist with management of Accounts Payable mailbox and respond to queries in a timely manner;
- Ensure all invoices & employee expense claims are approved in accordance with company policy;
- Maintain electronic invoice filing system;
- Assistance with month end procedures and reporting;
- Process and upload large volumes of Cost of Goods and sundry invoices into the general ledger;
- Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements.
**SKILLS & EXPERTISE**
- Possess prior experience in an Accounts Payable role;
- Be available immediately;
- Be competent in using Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced skills preferable);
- Display outstanding interpersonal skills (both verbal and written) as you will be asked to manage both internal and external clients;
- Competently work towards strict reporting timetables and deliver on all deadlines;
- Be highly organised with extreme attention to detail; &
- Be able to integrate seamlessly into a high performing finance team who will rely on you to deliver results.
