The Early Intervention Manager will provide proactive, high-quality early intervention to injured workers and employers through personalised face-to-face assistance, following notification of a psychological injury. Working with the claims team this role will enable you to facilitate effective workplace-based co-ordination of a timely and safe return to work that benefits an injured worker's recovery and helps employers manage their workers' compensation obligations.

This will be a **permanent, full-time **position based in the **Sydney** office, with flexibility to work from home for up to 3 days per week.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Conduct community-based visits inclusive of but not limited to worksites or medical case conferences, within the first few days of incident notification.
- Provide accurate and complete information that is consistent and easy to understand (including options about claims, entitlements, obligations & responsibilities).
- Work closely with a variety of stakeholders including workers, employers and treatment providers, to assist them navigate the process of a workers compensation claim.
- Actively measure, monitor, and review the effectiveness of early intervention involvement.
- Drive continuous improvement in the space of early intervention facilitation.
- Maintain awareness of industry developments and trends and provide recommendations for changes

**ABOUT YOU**
- Current Driver's License (mandatory).
- At least 5 years demonstrated experience in the co-ordination and facilitation of early intervention practices.
- Tertiary studies in Allied health (Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation, Nursing, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling or Exercise Science) is required.
- Qualification aligned to Occupational Rehabilitation, Psychology, Case Management or Mediation.
- Customer service experience.
- Experience working within the workers compensation industry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong focus on mediating and facilitating reconciliation between parties.
