**The role & team**
- Specsavers has a warm, supportive and friendly Payroll team of twelve based in Port Melbourne. This team is part of the wider People & Organisation team of around thirty-five consisting of, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition & Learning & Development.
- We have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Officer to join Specsavers and as a fully hybrid organisation, you will be based in Port Melbourne when not working from an alternative location.
- Reporting to the Payroll Manager you will assist in performing end to end payroll function for 50 stores across Australia, ensuring accurate and timely payments, in accordance with relevant taxation, legislation, awards, Specsavers Collective Agreement and organisational policies and procedures.

**Essential Skills**
- Experience in a high-volume payroll environment
- Sound knowledge of Australian payroll legislation
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Effective time management & organisational skills
- Possess a high attention to detail
- Sound and analytical and problem-solving skills
- Customer focused at all times
