**The role**
This role is an 8 Month Contract to cover leave.
The overall purpose of the Billing Officer is to create billing batches and invoices within set timeframes in accordance with individual funding requirements, ensuring all relevant information is gathered and entered accurately. Some duties include but are not limited to;
- Create electronic billing batches and invoices within specified timeframes, in accordance with individual funding requirements
- Complete self-assessments to ensure information is accurate and relevant, and make changes as required
- Respond to queries and complaints, or escalate as appropriate
- Ensure all communication is professional, polite and maintains privacy and confidentiality
- Participate in the auditing of work practices and implement opportunities for improvement
**What we are looking for**
- Previous experience in an finance administration role with a focus on invoice/billing
- Strong customer service, written and verbal communication, problem solving and attention to detail
- Experience in prioritising and processing a high number of claims/invoices in a fast paced environment
- Intermediate level Microsoft suite e.g. Word, Excel, Windows and an ability to learn new software programs. Knowledge of Procura would be beneficial
You will also be required to hold a current National Police Certificate and provide proof of a Covid-19 vaccination certificate.
